Automatic Positioning Fire Monitor

The CA-FIRE automatic positioning fire monitor is a complete automatic tracking & positioning jet fire-extinguishing system. Using infrared and ultraviolet sensors, it detects the radiation released by a fire, scans the protected 3D space, drives the nozzle precisely onto the fire source, then automatically opens the valve, starts the pump and discharges — extinguishing a fire in its earliest stage with no human input.

The system combines the monitor, a field control box, a central control cabinet and an Ethernet AI management platform with HD camera — delivering long detection range, large coverage area, high sensitivity, fast response and full-area monitoring with no blind spots.

How Automatic Positioning Works

Detect
Infrared / ultraviolet flame detectors continuously monitor the protected space for a fire signature.

Locate
On detection, the system calculates the fire's position (horizontal and vertical coordinates) within the coverage area.

Aim
The monitor automatically drives to the calculated position, pointing the nozzle directly at the fire source.

Suppress
Linked to the fire alarm and control panel, the monitor discharges water or foam onto the fire — fully automatically.

Key Features

Ethernet AI Management System
In-house developed Ethernet AI platform combines live video and control in one interface. Fire-alarm, automatic and manual operation logs are displayed centrally — one-click remote control of any field monitor.
IR / UV Flame Positioning
New digital-filter algorithm for accurate location and strong interference rejection. The system displays the flame-intensity value during scanning, and AI-assisted calibration corrects positioning error automatically.
2-Megapixel HD Digital Camera
200W (2 MP) digital camera versus the 30W analogue cameras used by conventional makers — higher clarity and strong anti-interference, eliminating "snow-screen" noise.
32-Microstep Smooth Drive
The turret motor uses a 32-microstep algorithm for smoother rotation and higher aiming precision onto the fire source.
Single-Fibre Wiring Saves Cost
Integrated remote Ethernet management runs field-to-control-room on a single optical fibre (video + control combined), removing a separate comms line and greatly cutting cabling cost versus traditional CAN / RS-485.
Auto Device Recognition
The field control box automatically recognises and adds connected monitors, with one-click multi-device synchronisation of height and sensitivity settings for fast commissioning.

System Components

Automatic Positioning Monitor
Stainless steel SS304/SS316 monitor with IR/UV flame detector, HD camera and motorised pan/tilt — detects, tracks and discharges onto the fire.
Field Control Box (ZDMAN-NX)
Wall-mounted box with LCD display — powers the field devices, relays signals between monitor and central host, allows local manual operation and outputs the alarm interlock signal.
Central Control Cabinet (ZDM-ZK01)
Floor-standing cabinet in the fire control room — Ethernet networking of multiple field boxes, backup-power management, system power output and video management.
Junction Box & Wiring
Each monitor connects through a junction box; CAN H/L terminals must correspond (do not reverse). Field-to-control-room runs on a single optical fibre.

System architecture: each monitor links through a junction box to the field control box (ZDMAN-NX), which connects to the central control cabinet (ZDM-ZK01) in the fire control room over a single optical fibre. Field control box outputs the fire-alarm interlock and pump-control signals. CAN H/L terminals must correspond — do not reverse.
